What sets our soil apart?
You can rest assured all of our mixes are coco coir based, and we only use New Zealand sustainably sourced Sphagnum moss and Sustainably farmed pine bark of the highest quality. Alongside being a much greener solution, coco coir is also perfectly PH balanced for your plants. Coco coir is light and airy, it naturally helps plants to provide fantastic drainage and aeration, ensuring roots do not rot or become overwatered.
Not only that, but all of Maya Growing Mediums have a 10-15% worm castings ratio, bio-char, and sea minerals packed with essential nutrients to boost plant growth.

Seven years ago, I started my first business, JustPlants, with a simple yet heartfelt mission: to bring the beauty of plants into people’s homes. What began as selling plants out of my small apartment and at local markets evolved into something far more significant than I could have imagined.

What type of potting mix do I need?The choice of potting mix depends on the type of plant. Here are some popular options based on different plant categories: 1. General Mix: This is suitable for a variety of houseplants, including Ficus varieties, Ferns, Peperomias, Bromeliads, Spider Plants, Calatheas, Ctenanthe, Cilea, Tradescantia, Aglaonema, Peace Lilies, and the Cast Iron Plant, among others. 2. Cactus Mix: This mix is tailored for succulent plants and includes varieties such as the ZZ plant, Snake Plants, Euphorbia, Yucca, various Cacti, and Haworthia. 3. Aroid Mix: This is ideal for aroids and includes Pothos varieties, Monstera Deliciosa, Monstera Adansonii, other Monstera varieties, Philodendron varieties, Rhaphidophora, and most climbing plants. Choose the right mix for your plants to help them thrive!
